A late night doctor that’s always near you

Your home doctor visit is 100% bulk billed with a Medicare or a Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) card. This means you’ll never be out of pocket with House Call Doctor.

Booking a night doctor is easy, just call us on 13 55 66 or book a doctor online or through our app.  Then we will send you an SMS with the doctors estimated arrival time. Our home doctors should arrive within 3 hours of your booking, but we do triage our patients to make sure the most vulnerably members of the community see a doctor first.

In these communities we aim to take the strain off emergency departments, while helping people with medical emergencies get seen quicker by doctors. We do this by looking after the 87% of patients that present at EDs with medical situations that aren’t emergencies.

There are a few things about our service that makes us different from our competitors. Unlike other after hours providers, our home doctor are always accompanied by a chaperone. These chaperones have been police checked and have a blue card. As well as this all our night doctors travel with fully stocked medical kits and we are one of the few after hours providers to travel with trauma kits, Ventolin, and fluids.

A home doctor can’t be your family GP, however, our medical care can work in tandem with your regular doctor. After each appointment with an after hours doctor your consultation notes are electronically send to your family GP. This helps everyone stay informed about your health and keeps you covered day and night.
