As a wholly Queensland owned and managed home doctor service, House Call Doctor cares for the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.
That also means we care for local businesses across the State and strive to show our support.
To do this, we have launched a Local Access Program where businesses across Queensland communities including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Townsville, and Toowoomba can connect with locals in their area and grow their business.
So, how does the Local Access Program work? Here’s everything you need to know if you’re a patient or a business owner.
For local businesses
If you are a local business owner looking to be a part of this program, the process is easy. You will simply need to fill out a form with contact details of your business including:
- Business name
- Business address
- Suburb
- Post code
- Phone number
- Web address.
As well as this, you will need to provide a discount you are willing to offer customers who refer to the Local Access Program.
Examples may include “10% off all items”, One free trial lesson” or “One free consultation”. This decision is completely up to you. Along with this, you can include any necessary terms and conditions in your discount offer.

All patients of House Call Doctor are given a Local Access Card and informed of the Local Access Program when they have a visit from one of our home doctors. From there, they can visit the discounts page on our website to see which businesses are available in their area – and what’s on offer.
We currently have several businesses as part of our Local Access Program including cafes, optometrists, dance schools, gyms, dentists and many more.
For patients
As mentioned, when you are visited by one of our home doctors, you will be given a Local Access Card, so you can access all available businesses and discounts listed on our website.
To redeem these discounts, you will have to show your Local Access Card when you visit a selected business or enter a particular code if the business accepts online purchases (this information will be included in the discount as shown on the website).
As well as this, you can filter all discounts for a particular area, so you can search through discounts easily.
